Overview
Winnipeg 420 is Manitoba's biggest & longest running cannabis festival/rally. For over 10 years, Winnipeg 420 has taken the core fundamentals of the spirit behind 420 and added a Winnipeg twist to the concept.
Prior to Legalization of cannabis in Canada in 2018, Winnipeg 420 was the leader and community center of the fight for cannabis law reform. From rally's to police escorted marches. From street vendors along Broadway, to the massive smoke out on the legislative grounds. This event was a mainstay of the cannabis community in Manitoba.
Since Legalization of cannabis, Winnipeg 420 has been adapting to an ever changing regulatory system for cannabis. Adding a level of uncertainty to the future of the event has been the COVID-19 Pandemic. Forcing our events online for 2 years in a row.
This past year, in 2022. Winnipeg 420 took on a new approach to our event based on ongoing public health concerns. Putting on a "LIVE stream bingo event" with partnering with Havesty Manitoba. The event raised more than 500 lbs of food donations, nearly 365 meals for needy Manitoba families.
As the next year approaches, Winnipeg 420 is always working towards advancing the needs of cannabis users and those who produce and sell it also. Working with local governments, police services and community organizations over the past 10 years has allowed us to move the needle in a way, unmatched by anyone in this provinces history.
We can't wait for you to be part of our upcoming event in 2023!
